We went to the slate mine to check out the tours there.  You could take a ride on an ex-army truck (in the open) up to the top of the mountain (since it was quite cold we crossed this off our list).  There were some energetic high wire stuff, not our thing.  So, we ended up down the deep slate mine.  It was a great tour and they had some really good visual presentation underground.  It must have been a hard life working in the slate mines in the 1800s.

We came home had some lunch and decided to have a quiet afternoon in.
