Shopping this morning at Tescos for food that we can prepare ourselves.

When we left the shop we noticed a sign to a historic canal, so we wandered of to find it.  It turned out to be the Pontcysyllite canal and viaduct that is world heritage listed.  Evidently it is the highest aqueduct carrying a canal across a valley in the world.  The views are spectacular,  we walked along the canal path for a couple of kilometres.  There were quite a few boats on the canal.

We then headed back to the farm for a late lunch and a lazy afternoon.
