Had a wander around Aberystwyth for about 5 hours today, went to the museum, checked out a few tourist shops and generally had a look around.  There are a lot of interesting buildings in town.

Spoken to some people today who said the storm last Monday was just run of the mill for Aberystwyth.

Back to the hotel this afternoon and sat and did some family tree, watched the ocean and people walking up and down the promenade from out bay window.

Went for a short walk about 2000.  The receptionist told us there was a weather alert for tomorrow morning and the promenade would be closed.  Glad we decided o park the car at the other hotels car park.
