We slept late today didn’t get up until 0830.  We tried to have a shower, but all we got was a single needle spray of cold water, impossible to have a shower under.  Spoke to the young girl who does the cleaning and she tried to get it going.  No luck!  So we were forced to have a shower in the shared bathroom.  Well that was only marginally better and Jude looked like a fish out of water having a bath!!

We headed out to the Falkirk Wheel for the day.  For those who don’t know it is a canal boat lift that moves boats about 25 metres vertically between 2 canals.  A pretty impressive piece of engineering.

Today it was a bit more overcast with a couple of light showers.  Here the trees have started to change colour and loose their leaves as autumn progresses.

Back to town about mid afternoon and down to the Laundrette to do the washing…that was exciting!!
