Today we did a trip to Kranji War Cemetery to visit the grave of SGT CB Cameron.  Caught a bus (at about 0900) to the Esplanade MRT Station, managed to purchase a ticket to the Kranji MRT Station.  Go on the train and changed trains at Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station, then on to Kranji MRT Station.  Got off the train and walked the last kilometre to the War Cemetery (it was a very hot day, no clouds and very humid). 

We found his name on the wall of honour, then found his headstone.  Jude left a poppy and a note for Julie (his niece) and we took some photos for her.

We then walked back to the station (once again in the heat and humidity) .  Luckily there was a café at the station so we sat had lunch and a drink (and rested).

We bought a ticket to Chinatown MRT Station and took a different route back.  Changing trains at Jurong East MRT Station and Outram Park MRT Station before alighting at Chinatown.  We wandered around Chinatown, again, and Jude bought some more stuff, again.  We then sat and had a quiet drink for a while before heading back to the hotel (at about 1600, a long 7 hour day!).

We had a quiet time in the hotel, then went out to dinner at about 1930.
