Up this morning had breakfast and we were going to go next
door to David’s Café (he helped us on the first day we were here) for morning
tea but, Jude had a shower and I went to get in but the water was stone
cold! Rang the owner and it turns out
the washing and Jude’s shower had used all the hot water, so I had to put the
booster on (its an off-peak system). After
a couple of hours, the water was hot enough to have a shower.
Changed morning tea to lunch and had some soup. The young bloke working in the café looked
very much like Harry Potter!!
After lunch we did the Town Walk using a map Jude had picked
up. The booklet said it was about 2Km,
with good paths but some steep areas. It
was a circuit around town. They weren’t
kidding about some steep areas, both of us were puffing and buggered by the
time we got to the top of the ridge overlooking the town. At one point we both tripped up the same
step.
We had decided to have Chinese for dinner, so I went to get
it. The place was shut despite the sign
on the door saying it should be open.
Once again, a change of plans, so we had Thai instead.
