Decided to go to Truro this morning.  The NavMan would not load the maps when I turned it on, so that slowed us down a bit.  Finally got to Truro and had a walk around the Cathedral, then around the town.  Interesting place with lot of little laneways and a number of old buildings and cobbled streets.

Bought a couple of pasties for lunch, they were pretty good.

When we finished in Truro we headed off to Sancreed to find the parish church where on of Mandy’s ancestors was christened.  When we got there the church was being renovated and had scaffolding all over it and all the furniture inside was packed together and covered with plastic.  We did manage to get a photo of the font and the windows and a shot from outside.

From there we went to St Michaels on the Mount.  We walked across the causeway, but sadly it was closed for winter (since 1 Nov).  We had a little look around where we could then cam home.
