Decided we would go to Saundersfoot Beach and walk along an old colliery railway line that winds its way from the harbour to the mine site along the coastal cliffs and through a couple of tunnels.  It was quite a nice walk, although Jude had to stop and look at several shops on the way.

From there we headed to St Clears, one of the places the Wales Daltons (who I now believe are not connected to us) was born.  Not much to see there!

Since it was only about midday we then continued to Carmarthen, another place where some of the Wales Daltons were.  We found the St Peters Church and had a quick look around the headstones…no Daltons.  Went into the church and had a look around.  We were just about to leave when Jude pointed out a vault in the floor, I just glanced at it but picked up the name Dalton.  Took some photos, but once again I don’t think they are related to us.  Pity as there is a royal connection!!

Headed back to the hotel late afternoon.

Tomorrow we are off to new digs at Bradford-on-Avon, near to Bath, leaving Wales behind.
