Decided to drive through Pembrey and Llanelli where Daltons (who I don’t think we are related to anymore) where born, married and died.  Just to have a look.  While we were there we came across a memorial to Amelia Earhart when she crossed the Atlantic.

From there we headed to a conservation garden in Cardiff to have lunch.  On the way we found ourselves in a traffic jam (on a Sunday!) that cost us about an hour.  When we finally got to the gardens we sat and had lunch, but the wind was very cold even though it wasn’t very strong.  Even so there were a lot of people and especially kids in the park.  As we left we met a young woman with a small cocker that was running frantically everywhere.  She said that the dog had a fixation with squirrels.  Even though he found several squirrels, they were too fast for him and easily made it up a tree before he got to them.

We were going to go to a bonsai garden but decided it was too cold and decided to head straight to our next digs in Bradford-on-Avon.

Once again, we found ourselves in yet another traffic jam.  It cost us over an hour in our trip.

We got to Bradford-on-Avon we had a bit of trouble finding our digs.  It seems to be quite an old town with lots of narrow winding roads and lanes.  We finally spotted where we were going to stay but there was no parking anywhere, so we parked illegally and went to check out the digs.  After we had checked it out we came out and spoke to a café owner next door.  He told us to park near his café and unload.  He also said that there was almost no parking around.  Jude and I walked around an eventually found a place we could park overnight.  As we walked back Jude said to someone she thought was another tourist and asked if they knew where to park.  In fact, they were locals and told us a place we could park the car for several days.  So, we took the car (up the hill!) and parked there and decided we would visit it each evening just to check on it.

We walked home and went to a Coop to get some supplies and dinner.
