Up early and off to the airport for our flight to Singapore.

My bag was overweight by 2 Kg and they wouldn’t take it, so, we had to move some things from my bag to Jude’s bag before they would check us in.

Then both Jude and I beeped going through the scanner.  We both had to go through the full body scan, then they frisked me as well.  Then they took a liking to my backpack…and went through it very thoroughly and even tested it for explosives.  The same bloke who frisked me check the backpack, I said to him “After all this we will be the best of friends” he just laughed!

On to the plane at the appointed time.
