Today we decided to take a walk along a canal from Trevor toward
Llangollen to a hotel that was about 3 Km along. It was interest see how the canal was built,
the bridges across it and the people walking, running, cycling paddling and boating.
We got to the Bryn Hotel we dropped in and had a cuppa and scones
for morning tea, sat for a while then walked back to where we had left the car.
About 6 ½ Km in all.
We then came home had lunch and did some digging about Edmund
Smiths marriages and births of his children. We still need to get some electoral records from
Perth and Adelaide to complete the picture.
Then Tony the old guy who owns the place dropped in for a cuppa
and a biscuit for afternoon tea. We had a
great chat with him before he headed off.
