Up at 0230 shower.  Took yesterdays paper in to Ted’s only to find him sitting on the chair on his front porch in the dark.  He was just checking we made it to the airport!

Arrived at airport 0320, only to be told that the flight had been delayed for 2 hours.  Got the text as we arrived at the airport.

Finally took off at 0820.

Arrived in Singapore only to be told we had missed our connecting flight and we had been re-booked on one at 2330 arriving London 0530.  We were given a room at the Crowne Plaza Chaingi for the afternoon/evening with dinner.  Got the travel agent to amend our hotel booking at Heathrow.
